Outback Kids Mildura Childcare Centre is committed to providing a stimulating and enriching early learning experience. Our mission is to create a foundation of lifelong learning and well-being, preparing children to thrive in a diverse and ever-changing world.
With 25 years of experience in early years education, teaching, and leadership roles, Melissa brings an exceptional depth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Her career includes working with international curriculums, ensuring every child benefits from a diverse and enriching learning environment.
Melissa has recently completed her Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education, receiving the top honour of the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence. This achievement, combined with her decades of hands-on experience, means your children are in the safest and most capable hands.
Having been part of the Outback Kids family for seven years, including five years in management, Melissa’s dedication, leadership, and passion continue to inspire and shape the outstanding care we provide at Outback Kids Mildura.

Sharon and Greg Nelson, the visionary leaders of our centre, have nearly three decades of experience in childcare, having founded their first centre in 1993.
Outback Kids Child Care Centre embodies their profound expertise and dedication to early childhood development. As their third and most cherished endeavour, our centre represents a significant milestone in its ongoing commitment to providing unparalleled childcare services to the Mildura community.
